| The rings are made from aluminum and generally have a 15/1000" wall. A 1/2" filter has a depth of 0.2" and exposed diameter of 0.35". Larger rings, such as 2-inch, have a 20/1000" wall. For a 2-inch filter, the external diameter of the ring is 2 inches whereas the exposed diameter is 1.8 inches and the depth is 1/4 inches. |
